Dr. Allison Agliata is a licensed clinical psychologist and board-certified executive coach. She began her career as an Air Force psychologist (Captain) and has served as an education and military leader. To combine her passion for clinical work and teaching, she founded a private practice specializing in behavioral health care for high-performance fields, such as first responders and their families, military members, and educational systems. Her team provides counseling, critical incident debriefings, peer support training, and C-suite coaching to agencies invested in the emotional and behavioral health of their members.
Her work has been contracted by the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) where she served as a training psychologist on psychological concepts for Special Operations Forces (SOF). This joint training program supported the mission of the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) to optimize readiness, longevity, and performance through integrated and holistic human performance programs.
Based on her clinical experience, Dr. Agliata authored a workbook, Mastering Resilience: First Responder Edition, which provides preventative wellness tools to encourage positive living and coping in high-stress fields. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Suncoast Alliance of First Responders, a not-for-profit organization that runs Florida’s First Responder Hope Line and offers resources to first responders in need. Her commitment to the world of first responders has earned her the Citizen’s Award from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). She and her team are proud to serve as the support center for both HCSO and the Tampa Police Department (TPD), contributing to the overall well-being and safety of our community helpers.
Dr. Agliata serves as a consultant, coach, clinician, and speaker in the areas of leadership, personal mastery, resiliency, trauma recovery, and corporate culture for a variety of organizations. You can view her work as a special guest on nationally syndicated programs such as TODAY, TODAY with Hoda & Jenna, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt.
